Magazines: Americas
Picked up this magazine at the Corner News Stand here in Cheyenne a couple of days ago. It's the January, February 2011 issue.
The magazine is put out in identical Spanish and English editions...but not in the same magazine. So if you want them both (in order to facilitate your learning of one language or the other) you have to buy them both!
The only version my news stand had was the Spanish version, and I'm assuming the English version is sold in other Americas states...although I'll double check that next time I get to the News Stand, see if they carry them both.
Here's what their website has to say:

The rich mosaic of peoples and cultures of North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean springs to life from the pages of Américas, a vibrant and colorful magazine published by the Organization of American States.
For more than six decades Américas has opened a window onto interesting places and events that provide our readers with a richer general knowledge of our neighboring societies. Each edition reminds us that international understanding begins with exposure to other cultures and the exploration of new landscapes.
Américas Magazine is arguably the most important and appealing publication of the OAS, offering to its readers a reflection of their common and disparate past and a thoughtful consideration of the events and occurrences that bind them together as people of the Americas.
The magazine promotes the reciprocal understanding that is necessary to build stable economic, political and social structures supporting inter-American solidarity. Over the past 60 years, it has projected a true and positive image of the nations of the Americas.
The underlying purpose of this effort is to build trust and understanding and help create an atmosphere in which cooperation among the governments of member states is supported and in which the prestige and policies of the Organization are respected.
Américas is especially interested in articles that portray contemporary developments in the hemisphere. OAS member countries include: Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Commonwealth of Dominica, Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Cuba (Currently suspended), the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panamá, Paraguay, Peru, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, the United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela. U.S. topics should have some Latin American or Caribbean tie-in.
